Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil réfrigérateur magnétique à haute température pour une charge de réfrigération pouvant être comprise entre 2 K et 400 K avec un rendement de Carnot supérieur à 70 %. Cet appareil comporte un moteur 1 avec un arbre 2 entraînant une roue contenue dans une enveloppe 3 entourée sur un côté par un aimant supraconducteur 8, la roue comportant une couronne 4 en métal des terres rares, cette couronne étant perméable, et un système de circulation d'un fluide comportant une pompe 10, une charge de réfrigération 13 et un échangeur de chaleur 11. L'appareil peut aussi être utilisé en moteur thermique
