Abstract

Ce dispositif est destiné aux joints de tuyauterie du type, à emboîtement d'un bout uni 1 à l'intérieur d'une extrémité évasée 2 en forme de tulipe, dans lequel un intervalle est laissé libre entre le bout uni et le fond de la tulipe. Il comporte un anneau 22 de fermeture de l'espace entre la tulipe 2 et le bout uni 1 réalisé en une matière plastique souple, douée d'une excellente endurance aux flexions répétées et conservant une résistance mécanique élevée aux fortes températures, et comportant au moins une partie centrale de direction générale perpendiculaire à l'axe du tuyau, entre deux extrémités pincées de manière étanche, l'une contre le tuyau et l'autre contre la partie de grand diamètre de la tulipe.
