Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la construction d'un organe flexible de transmission. Ce procédé consiste à enrouler un fil métallique d'une section cylindrique afin de former un ressort hélicoïdal formé de spires disposees en contact latéral l'une avec l'autre, et à lui appliquer une précharge de compression ; ce procédé comprend L'étape supplémentaire consistant à prévoir, sur la surface extérieure dudit ressort hélicoïdal, une gorge hélicoïdale dont le pas est égal au pas desdites spires disposées en contact latéral l'une avec l'autre, et ayant une section transversale sensiblement semi-cylindrique disposée de façon à constituer un chemin hélicoïdal de roulement pour les billes. L'invention s'applique à l'accouplement d'organes de transmission.
