Abstract

Appareil permettant de former des images de tranches du corps sous examen qui font un certain angle par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de translation du corps. Il comprend des moyens formant cadre 21 et des moyens 23-28pour supporter ces moyens formant cadre ainsi que pour permettre leur mouvement sur un trajet incurvé autour d'un axe virtuel dirigé latéralement, des moyens pour entraîner les moyens formant cadre sur le trajet incurvé, des moyens formant base tournante, 31, des moyens formant poulie 62 accouplés, les moyens formant base tournante étant fixés sur les moyens formant poulie, les moyens formant poulie et les moyens formant base tournante étant pourvus d'une ouverture centrale et les ouvertures centrales étant alignées pour permettre de disposer un corps sous examen le long de l'axe longitudinal dans le trajet du faisceau issu de la source à rayons X, des moyens moteurs et des moyens supportant ces moyens moteurs sur les moyens formant cadre, ainsi que des moyens pour accoupler ces moyens moteurs pour leur permettre d'entraîner les moyens formant poulie. Application à la tomodensitométrie.
