Abstract

The clamping collar is for cables of tubes with various dias. and cross sections, to be mounted on a support. A toothed (3) band (1, 1A) has a head (6) at one end which has matching teeth (9). The head has a slot (10), through which the free end (4) passes. After traversing the cable (11), the head and free end are mounted by passing through the mounting plate (13). Locking is provided by elastic wings which provide a springing action in conjunction with the mounting plate (13) to lock the wedge teeth in position. The spring allows some take up of the collar length and also allows the clasping action to be released.
