Abstract

The equipment is for hanging a tapestry on a wall, and securing it along one or more edges by means of a profiled fixing device. It comprises two profiled fixing devices, the first (1) being fixed to the wall itself (2), and the second (3) snapping into engagement with the first and parallel to it. Each device has a clip portion (1c, 3a) extending for the full length of its face. The two portions fit one inside the other. The tapestry (4) is secured by jamming it between these two portions, and covers the outer face of the second device, and also a part of the face towards the first one. The clip portions may have circular sections, the end of one acting as a stop for the other to prevent the second device pivoting in the first one.
