Abstract

The soap dispenser has a reservoir and distribution chamber designed to supply liquid soap during a wash cycle. When the dishwasher door is closed, liquid is released into the machine. When the door is opened, the bottom of the reservoir is higher than that of the distributor. Closing the door supplies liquid additives to the machine on a sliding plane. The reservoir and distributor are separated by a partitioning wall. The bottom of the reservoir (9) is on an incline descending towards the distributor well (10). At a certain level (14) the distributor (10) fills through an opening (13). When the quantity in the reservoir (9) is low, the filling operation is impaired and cannot be effected beyond a certain point (11).
