Abstract

The insulator (2) supports a conductor (3). The conductor (3) is carried on the insulator (2) by means of a clamp having a fixed jaw (4) and a clamping jaw (5). The fixed jaw (4) is fastened to the insulator (2) by a stirrup. The clamping jaw (5) is clamped on the fixed jaw (4) by a screw bolt (7) and a nut. The jaw (4) has a projection (8) at its rear which fits into the through of the insulator. A layer (10) of flexible and insulating material is placed between the insulator, the stirrup (6) and the projection (8) of the jaw (4).
