Abstract

914,859. Supporting conductors. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES Ltd. Feb. 17, 1961 [Feb. 19, 1960], No. 5969/60. Class 36. A two-part metal clamp adapted to embrace a conductor and support an associated member thereon has the mounting lugs shielded against corona discharge. A metallic spacer 1 for a twin O/H line distribution conductor is bolted around the conductors by means of lugs 5, 8, the outer lugs 8 being extended around the inner lugs 5. One lug on each part may be so extended instead.
