Abstract
L'engrenage comprend un alésage axial 3 et un moyeu 2 entoures d'un flan 1. A la périphérie du flan sont formées plusieurs dents 4 dont les faces extérieures 5 ont un profil connu Un évidement 6 est formé à l'intérieur des dents et sa forme est sensiblement similaire au profil extérieur des dents La base 7 des différents évidements est placée sensiblement sur la circonférence 8 qui coïncide avec le fond 8 de l'entre-dent L'épaisseur 9 des dents est ainsi uniforme sur tout le pourtour de chaque dent et l'évidement permet une déformation élastique des dents lors d'une variation de la charge appliquée lorsque les dents sont en contact avec celles d'un autre engrenage. De ce fait, les bruits provoqués par les contacts des dents sont notablement réduit, Applications : entre autres, mécanismes d'horlogerie, appareils acoustiques.
