Abstract

The sachet is formed from a rectangular piece of flexible material. The sachet is fitted with a re-inforcing strip (3) along the centre line of the sachet. The strip is made from semi-rigid material and welded or glued to the sachet. The reinforcing strip has one or several folds in it, so that the sachet may be folded longitudinally. The sachet is closed by means of a cord (5) around the open end. The reinforcing strip may be tapered towards the open end. The base of the sachet has a transversal weld to reinforce the base.
