Abstract

Ce raccord comprend un élément mâle 1 soudé à un tube 2 et un élément femelle 3 soudé à un tube 4. Les surfaces en regard des éléments 1 et 3 sont tronconiques et portent, l'une, des cordons 11 et, l'autre, des gorges 7. Les dimensions sont calculées pour qu'au début du mouvement d'assemblage chaque cordon 11 soit appuyé sur la surface 10 située en amont de la gorge 7 correspondant à ce cordon. L'assemblage s'effectue au moyen d'une presse dont les plateaux s'engagent dans des gorges 19 et 20, et on peut faciliter l'assemblage en injectant de l'huile sous pression entre les deux éléments du raccord. Ce raccord s'applique notamment aux forages et à la mise en production des puits de pétrole ou de gaz en mer.
