Abstract

Ce robinet relais est du type comprenant un piston relais et une soupape à double siège actionnée par ce piston. Selon l'invention, le piston relais 10 est disposé entre une chambre d'air de commande 9 et une chambre d'air de freinage 12 et est pourvu d'un passage calibré 11. De cette manière, lors du commencement d'une manoeuvre de freinage, de l'air comprimé venant d'un robinet de commande 1 peut être envoyé directement à un cylindre de frein 7, sans qu'il soit nécessaire que la soupape à double siège 13, 14, 15 soit commutée.
