Abstract

L'invention est relative à un fauteuil susceptible d'être transformé en lit. Le fauteuil, comportant un siège et un dossier munis de coussins et des accoudoirs, est caractérisé en ce que le siège comporte trois cadres sensiblement rectangulaires superposes, articulés entre eux, le cadre intermédiaire etant articulé sur le cadre inférieur à proximité de son bord correspondant à la partie avant du siège et sur le cadre supérieur à proximité de son bord correspondant à la partie arrière du siège afin d'autoriser le dépliage du siège et la mise des trois cadres dans le prolongement l'un de l'autre pour constituer le sommier du lit, dont les coussins de dossier et de siège constituent le matelas. Application à la réalisation de fauteuils-lits simples et légers, faciles à manipuler et susceptibles d'être conditionnés à l'état démonté, sous un faible encombrement.
