Abstract
L'invention concerne des accumulateurs ayant une électrode positive et une électrode négative contenant une matière à base de zinc et de cadmium. La matière à base de cadmium est un additif améliorant l'adhérence de l'électrode négative au zinc électroréduit à partir d'un composé de zinc à l'état solide ou déposé à partir d'électrolytes. La matière à base de zinc et la matière active de l'électrode positive sont utilisées en quantités telles que la matière à base de cadmium soit maintenue électrochimiquement inactive vis-à-vis de la matière active de l'électrode positive lors de la décharge de l'accumulateur.
