Abstract

L'invention est relative à des batteries d'accumulateurs électriques et à leur fabrication. Les accumulateurs comportent une anode 12 contenant du zinc, une cathode 10 et un électrolyte alcalin aqueux, l'anode étant constituée de particules finement subdivisées de zinc métallique, qui ont été oxydées in situ par voie électrochimique et sont prevues sur un support, l'électrolyte et/ou l'anode pouvant contenir un additif minéral pour réduire au minimum la croissance des dendrites et le changement de forme de l'anode durant les cycles de charge et de décharge. Application particulièrement avantageuse aux batteries d'accumulateurs rechargeables.
