Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie pharmaceutique. Elle a pour objet un procédé pour produire par fermentation l'acide (+)-2-(5 beta -n-butyl-4 beta -hydroxy-2-oxo-tétrahydrofuranne- 3 beta -yl)-2 alpha -méthylacétique suivant lequel on cultive une souche d'une espèce du genre Penicillium ou du genre Aspergillus produisant du dihydrocanadensolide dans un milieu nutritif aqueux. Ce produit est préféré pour le traitement des ulcères gastrointestinaux.
