Abstract

2-Bromo-3-chloro-NA-2-imidazolidinylidene-benzamine of formula (I) and its acid addn. salts are new. Cpds. are antihypertensives having much longer duration of activity than clonidine. (I) is used in doses of 0.05-30 mg pref. 0.1-10mg by enteral or parenteral administration.
