Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un lève-tôle comportant une came de serrage qui est montée pivotante par rapport à un support et propre à coopérer avec une paroi en forme de patin de ce support, cette came étant reliée à un élément de suspension par une chaîne ou un câble passant sur un élément de renvoi. Selon l'invention, le câble ou la chaîne 17 est relié à la came de serrage 11 par un levier articulé 13 propre à prendre appui sur un bossage 15 de la came dans une partie de la course de pivotement de celle-ci, par exemple dans la partie de sa course correspondant au serrage de tôles de forte épaisseur; le bossage 15 est disposé de manière que le levier 13 le quitte quand la direction de ce dernier est sensiblement tangente au galet de renvoi, la droite 27 joignant l'axe du pivot 9 de la came au point d'articulation 14 du levier 13 sur cette came faisant alors un angle d'environ 70 à 80 degrés avec la direction de la partie du câble ou de la chaîne 17 s'étendant de l'élément de renvoi au levier.
