Abstract

Procédé pour empêcher la formation de tartre ou de dépôts de gypse dans un procédé de désulfuration d'un effluent gazeux. Selon le procédé de l'invention, la concentration en CaCl2 de la solution absorbant le SO2 est inférieure ou égale à 40 % en poids, tandis que la construction de ladite solution en Ca(OH) 2 est maintenue à une valeur inférieure ou égale à 0,1 % en poids. Mise en oeuvre pour les durées prolongées d'installation de désulfuration de gaz d'effluent ou gaz de Carneau utilisant des procédés chaux/gypse, par élimination du tartre ou des dépôts de gypse dans l'épurateur et les conduites.
