Abstract

L'invention concerne un derrick stabilisé utilisable dans un navire d'exploitation minière en eau profonde. Ce derrick est caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu entre lui et le navire un élément d'appui élastique 70 destiné à supporter la charge et en ce qu'il est prévu des moyens d'entraînement tels que 62A et 66A pour faire tourner le derrick par rapport au navire en vue de maintenir l'alignement vertical du derrick par rapport à la colonne de tubes lorsque le navire exécute des mouvements de roulis et de tangage au cours d'opérations d'incorporation et d'enlèvement de tube dans la colonne, ladite colonne étant supportée par une bride 81. De préférence, un second élément d'appui élastique 80 est prévu entre la bride 81 et le derrick. Application à des installations d'extraction de minerais en haute mer.
