Abstract

L'invention concerne un système électrochimique rechargeable. Il comporte un générateur comprenant au moins une électrode positive de dépolarisation par l'air, au moins un collecteur négatif, un réservoir, un électrolyseur comprenant au moins une électrode positive et une électrode négative, un électrolyte portant en suspension la matière active négative, des moyens pour faire circuler l'électrolyte soit entre le reservoir et le générateur, soit entre l'électrolyseur et le réservoir, caractérisé par le fait que le volume total de l'électrolyte alcalin, portant en suspension une matière active négative contenant 250 g à 350 g par litre d'équivalent zinc, est compris entre une fois et demi et trois fois le volume interne de l'électrolyseur. L'invention est mise en oeuvre dans les véhicules électriques.
