Abstract
The condenser is used for steam or other vapours which contain air or other non-condensible gases at or below atmospheric pressure. The condenser has a main part with a pair of parallel tube rows and air is blown over these tubes. The tubes are connected by their ends to draining and main condensers. The condensate is drained from an outlet section connected to a draining section. The outlet section pressure is maintained independently of pressures in other parts. Solidification is prevented and flow takes place only in one direction. A separate pipe system is connected to draining condenser pipes. This pipe system is connected to extractor for noncondensed vapour and noncondensing gases. Extracted vapour and gases are rejected into atmosphere under pressure which prevents flow reversal in pipes.
