Abstract

Procédé pour la préparation d'anhydrides d'acides halogénonaphtaliques purs à partir d'halogénoacénaphtènes par oxydation à l'acide nitrique. On oxyde dans un mélange d'un acide aliphatique carboxylique, d'eau et d'acide nitrique en présence d'un vanadate et éventuellement d'autres sels métalliques à chaud, on sépare le produit de réaction et on termine l'oxydation en solution aqueuse à un pH de 9 à 12 et à chaud à l'aide d'un hypochlorite. Le procédé selon l'invention donne des produits purs et peu colorés qu'on peut utiliser dans la préparation d'azurants optiques.
