Abstract

The terminal (11) for two line wires has two mutually connected metal plates (12, 13) with slots (15, 16) which at least partially coincide. The walls (27, 28) of the slot (15) are offset with respect to the walls (29, 30) of the slot (16), specifically to one side in the upper part and to the other side in the lower part. The line wire is therefore gripped in the upper part between the wall (27) and the wall (30), while the line wire is gripped in the lower part between the wall (28) and the wall (29). The presence of the second line wire therefore increases the contact pressure which is exerted by the terminal (11) on the first line wire and, conversely, the presence of the first line wire increases the contact pressure which is exerted by the terminal on the second line wire.
