Abstract

L'invention concerne la préparation de copolymère bois-matière plastique. Le procédé consiste à faire réagir au moins un monomère à insaturation éthylénique avec une matière ligno-cellulosique en présence d'un catalyseur du type des peroxydes à l'état dissous dans de l'eau, à une température supérieure à la température de décomposition du catalyseur, de sorte que l'on provoque la polymérisation du monomère et son greffage sur la matière ligno-cellulosique. Les fibres ligno-cellulosiques du bois et des déchets de bois assurent un renforcement dans le copolymère obtenu.
