Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement des déchets ménagers. L'installation suivant l'invention se caractérise en ce quelle comprend, en combinaison, un déchiqueteur 10, un crible 32, un premier cyclone 46 dont la base débouche sur un broyeur 50, pour transformer les déchets sélectionnés dans le crible en particules, un second cyclone 65 avec écluse 67 débouchant sur un séparateur magnétique 80, une mélangeuse 95 disposée entre le séparateur magnétique et une presse 102, cette presse transformant les particules en granulés, étant elle-même disposée en amont d'un refroidisseur 125 à partir duquel les granulés sont transférés dans un silo de stockage 141. Application à l'obtention d'un produit combustible à partir de déchets ménagers.
