Abstract

L'appareil respiratoire comprend un masque respiratoire 1 relié à un circuit respiratoire 2 ou faisant partie de celui-ci. En combinaison avec le masque, ce circuit comprend des valves anti-retour 3 et 4 qui assurent un écoulement de gaz respirable dans le sens des flèches. Le circuit respiratoire 2 comprend aussi un absorbant 5 conçu pour absorber l'anhydride carbonique et un sac respiratoire 6 destiné à emmagasiner le gaz expiré et duquel l'inspiration s'effectue à travers l'absorbant 5. Pour permettre de donner au plongeur un signal d'avertissement indiquant que le gaz respirable n'est pas fourni en quantité prédéterminée au circuit respiratoire 2, une valve d'avertissement 21 est interposée dans le circuit respiratoire. La valve d'avertissement est branchée dans la partie du circuit 2 qui va, par l'absorbant 5, du sac respiratoire 6 au masque respiratoire 1. Application à la plongée.
