Abstract
Cette roue est en métal léger, en particulier en alliage d'aluminium ou de magnésium forgé. Selon l'invention, la surface de roulement 31 et/ou le boudin 28 de cette roue sont dotés d'une couche de revêtement métallique 32 et/ou céramique 33 ayant une très forte tenue à l'usure. Cette couche de revêtement a une épaisseur de 1 à 6 mm et est appliquée par pulvérisation par voie thermique, de préférence à l'arc-plasma.
