Abstract

The device has a switching circuit connected to its output terminal and divided in a number of branches. It produces a number of attenuations. It has switches for selective connection of switching circuit branches (1-5) to the device input terminal (15) and a source of reference potential so that a selected switching circuit branch (e.g. 1) provides a series signal path between input (15) and output (23) while the remaining circuit branches (e.g. 2-5) provide a shunt signal path between the output (23) and the reference potential.
