Abstract

The electronic device has a measurement resistor (2) between a voltage source and the load. When the certain voltage drop across the resistor is exceeded, the load circuit is broken. A store is provided, and operated in case of a load overcurrent. The device for voltage controlled load circuit disconnection is also used for the load switching on and off. The store maintains the load circuit broken until the above device is switched off, and this is achieved by the use of a relay (4) and a Schmitt-trigger (8). Extra tappings from the connections to the resistor are applied through an operational amplifier (9) to a filament lamp (10).
