Abstract
L'invention concerne le traitement de courants résiduaires, en particulier des eaux usées acides de pétrochimie, dans un filtre anaérobie 5, sous des charges élevées, avec de grands débits de recyclage. L'effluent provenant du filtre passe dans une zone 13 de dégagement des gaz et de sédimentation des solides, contenant un volume 14 au repos du liquide dudit effluent. Les particules de biomasse solide se déposent dans le volume de liquide et sont retirées, avec le liquide, et recyclées à la base du filtre avec une charge fraîche du courant résiduaire acide et un matériau alcalin inorganique ajouté. La décharge du filtre est envoyée dans un digesteur aérobie 31 et la boue activée en résultant est recyclée dans le filtre 5. Le matériau alcalin est de préférence de l'oxyde ou du carbonate de magnésium. Le formiate de sodium peut également être utilisé comme matériau alcalin.The invention relates to the treatment of waste streams, in particular acidic petrochemical wastewater, in an anaerobic filter 5, under high loads, with high recycle rates. The effluent coming from the filter passes into a zone 13 for gas evolution and for sedimentation of solids, containing a volume 14 at rest of the liquid of said effluent. The solid biomass particles settle in the liquid volume and are removed, along with the liquid, and recycled to the base of the filter with a fresh charge of the acidic waste stream and an inorganic alkaline material added. The discharge from the filter is sent to an aerobic digester 31 and the resulting activated sludge is recycled to the filter 5. The alkaline material is preferably magnesium oxide or carbonate. Sodium formate can also be used as an alkaline material.
