Abstract

The model for audio visual reproductions has a smooth shape with the chin contoured smoothly into the neck and without mouth nose and eye features. The face is built up into a rough human shape and allows projection of the moving features to be possible without shadows. The facial shape can be adjusted to suit the particular character to be portrayed, using simple thermal moulding. The projected face is accurate over more than just the front profile, with detail available from ear to ear.
