Abstract

Pour permettre la formation de formes et de dimensions optimales des éclats, on provoque, dans la structure de la matière et/ou dans la forme de la surface d'une douille obtenue préalablement selon des procédés connus, des modifications, par traitement thermique ultérieur d'au moins la surface de la douille, en utilisant un faisceau d'énergie, notamment un faisceau d'électrons. On produit ces modifications de structure et/ou de forme en des emplacements ou des zones prédéterminées, réparties comme souhaité à la surface de la douille. Applications aux munitions, notamment aux munitions à larguer, aux têtes offensives, etc.
