Abstract
L'invention concerne des perfectionnements apportés aux éoliennes. L'éolienne comprend au moins un corps tournant possédant une symétrie de révolution autour d'un axe contenu dans un plan vertical, ledit corps étant d'une part, entraîné en rotation autour de son axe de symétrie par des moyens moteurs et des moyens de transmission, et étant, d'autre part, monté tournant autour d'un axe principal horizontal, de sorte que lorsqu'un vent souffle dans la direction de l'axe principal pendant que le corps tournant est entraîné en rotation par les moyens moteurs, il entraîne en rotation, de façon connue, ledit corps tournant autour dudit axe principal. Application notamment à la production de courant électrique.
