Abstract

Procédé pour améliorer le comportement de catalyseurs à l'argent qui ont été utilisés dans la préparation d'oxyde d'éthylène par réaction d'éthylène avec de l'oxygène moléculaire. On lave le catalyseur usé avec de l'eau ou avec un mélange d'eau et d'un solvant organique miscible avec l'eau, on dépose de 0,00004 à 0,008 équivalent-gramme par kilogramme (par rapport au catalyseur total) d'ions d'un ou plusieurs des métaux alcalins sodium, potassium, rubidium ou césium sur le catalyseur lavé. Application à la réactivation de ces catalyseurs.
