Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un appareil électrique à induction, tel qu'un transformateur refroidi au moyen d'un liquide diélectrique vaporisable L'appareil de l'invention est muni d'une pompe ascendante à vapeur qui pompe le liquide diélectrique situé dans un réservoir inférieur de collecteur pour l'envoyer dans un réservoir supérieur ou distributeur en vaporisant du liquide provenant du réservoir supérieur et utilisant la vapeur pour envoyer le liquide du réservoir inférieur vers le réservoir supérieur par un tube de pompage. Ce nouvel agencement ne requiert aucune perte en mouvement et est donc extrêmement fiable et la quantité d'énergie nécessaire pour le fonctionnement de la pompe est relativement faible.
