Abstract
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de frein pour ensouple. Il comprend un bras qui est monté de manière articulée par rapport au châssis du métier à tisser, un élément suiveur qui suit la périphérie externe du fil sur l'ensouple et est monté sur le bras à une certaine distance de l'axe d'articulation de ce dernier, et une transmission entre ce bras et l'extrémité ajustable du ruban de frein, cette transmission étant construite de telle sorte qu'un pivotement du bras, à cause d'une réduction du diamètre externe du fil sur l'ensouple, diminue la force de traction exercée sur le ruban de frein et par conséquent le freinage de l'ensouple. Utilisation dans le domaine des métiers à tisser en particulier pour tissus doubles.
