Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un épurateur d'air comprimé; b. Il est caractérisé par le fait que dans le pot à filtre 1 est disposé un récipient intérieur 16 de manière à laisser subsister entre la paroi intérieure dudit pot à filtre 1 et la paroi extérieure dudit récipient intérieur 16 un espace annulaire qui est rempli par la cartouche filtrante 18 qui est traversée axialement par l'air comprimé à nettoyer, et que dans la partie aval du récipient intérieur 16 sont prévues des ouvertures radiales 24 autorisant le passage de l'air comprimé, ledit récipient intérieur étant appliqué, à l'aide d'un ressort 13 prenant appui sur le fond du pot à filtre 1, contre un siège de soupape 6 prévu au niveau du raccord d'évacuation 8 et pénétrant dans ledit pot 1, et que ledit récipient intérieur 16 présente, dans le voisinage du siège de soupape 6 un perçage ou alésage 20; c. Application aux installations de frein pour véhicules automobiles.
