Abstract
Métallurgie Fonte nodulaire et organes de machines formés avec une telle fonte. La fonte nodulaire est caractérisée en ce qu'elle contient en plus du graphite sphéroïdal au moins 5 % en volume d'austénite fixee qui est isothermiquement stable dans un intervalle de température de + 300 degrés C à - 80 degrés C, le reste étant principalement de la bainite, cette fonte convenant pour former des surfaces de friction d'organes de machines pour la transmission de force motrice et devant glisser de façon intermittente contre une surface métallique quand l'organe est pressé contre cette surface. Cette fonte convient particulièrement pour former les surfaces de friction pour la transmission de force motrice, ces organes devant glisser de façon intermittente contre une surface métallique quand ils sont serrés contre cette surface, notamment pour des patins de freins agissant directement sur les roues de locomotives ou d'autres véhicules ferroviaires.
