Ce composé a une teneur en silicium supérieure à 65 % en poids et est suffisamment tassé dans le conduit pour augmenter sa densité d'au moins 10 %, par rapport à sa densité naturelle. c. Concerne la métallurgie et plus particulièrement la sidérurgie.
