Abstract

The heating element is mounted between two insulating foils. Several heating zones are provided along the insulating strips with their heating wires terminals and connecting wires, with the heating and connecting wires consisting of layer conductors. The heating layer conductors are arranged in a meandering pattern. Stress relieving and cutting zones (8, 12) are provided between the heating fields (6, 7...). They run alternately from one strip edge to near the other. Connecting wires (2, 3) have terminals connected to narrow strips (9a) in the cutting area. The specified number of heater zones (6, 7) for one heater is cut along a cutting line so that a heating element cut off from the strip is insulated on all sides.
