Abstract

The heating strip has at least one electrical resistance wire, insulated electrically, and a support and envelope consisting of strips of good heat conducting material, these strips extending laterally over the surface of the resistance wire. The support and envelope for the resistance wire are typically made from strips of aluminium paper. The parts of the envelope which extend laterally along the wire are connected by the contact surfaces and, at least along a fraction of their length, have a plane form, corrugated form, folded form etc.
