Abstract

The device consists of flexible resistance wires (1) connected to electrical supply conductors. At least one of the resistance wires (1) is placed between two strips (2, 3) which are then sealed to each other. Pieces of this assembly are then cut into required lengths and their ends are inserted into insualted ferrules into which are connected conducting bridges for connecting the ends of adjacent resistance wires. The circuit thus formed is a zigzag arrangement of resistance wire strips whose ends are connected to the supply conductors. The latter are in an insulating strip which has openings for connector pins.
