Abstract

L'invention concerne un papier semi-synthétique de faible densité, approprié en premier usage en tant que papier et, en second usage, en tant qu'engrais et qu'agent d'amélioration du sol. Ce papier contient, outre des additifs et des charges conventionnelles, des fragments fibreux, particulaires, et/ou lamellaires de condensat urée-formaldéhyde, et des fibres cellulosiques végétales. Les fragments et les fibres forment une structure à réseau de fibres ouvert, continu, chimiquement lié, dans lequel les fragments de condensat urée-formaldéhyde, qui sont partiellement prédurcis en milieu acide à basse température, sont durcis une deuxième fois en combinaison avec les fibres, pendant le séchage du papier à un pH compris entre 1,5 et 4,5 et une température comprise entre 80 et 140 degrés C.
