Abstract
Palier de rotation à coussinets basculants comportant des coussinets de palier 16 présentant chacun deux extrémités opposées, une surface intérieure, une surface extérieure, une cavité allongée, s'étendant circonférentiellement, prévu dans la surface exterieure, la ligne médiane radiale 54 de la cavité étant disposée à une distance angulaire de 0 à 12 degrés de la ligne médiane radiale 56 du coussinet, en aval de celle-ci par rapport au sens de rotation de l'arbre, et un conduit 2 qui fait communiquer la pellicule d'huile formée hydrodynamiquement avec la cavité pour fournir un support hydrostatique de pivotement au coussinet au cours de la rotation de l'arbre, en permettant au coussinet de s'élever et de pivoter autour de son centre. Principales applications : arbres à rotation rapide.
