Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de dérivation pour fibre optique multimode. Un système mécanique provoque des courbures alternées de la fibre de manière à y induire une succession de transpositions de mode et à faire passer une partie de la lumière dans la gaine d'où elle est extraite à l'aide d'un adaptateur d'indice qui peut prendre la forme d'une demi-sphère, ou celle d'une autre fibre optique. Application aux télécommunications par fibres optiques.
