Abstract

Frein à serrage par ressort et à desserrage par fluide, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un moyeu, un disque de friction porté par ledit moyeu, un porte-ressorts, des moyens supportant à rotation ledit moyeu dans ledit porte-ressorts, des moyens pour supporter une multiplicité de ressorts sur ledit porte-ressorts, une plaque de montage de garniture de friction, une garniture de friction, des moyens fixant ladite garniture de friction sur ladite plaque de montage, un piston porté par ledit porte-ressorts, un cylindre monté sur ledit piston formant une cavité de cylindre et des moyens reliant ledit cylindre à ladite plaque de montage de garniture de friction indépendamment dudit porte-ressorts, de telle façon qu'en l'absence d'une pression de fluide dans ladite cavité de cylindre, ce cylindre peut être déplacé vers ledit disque de friction, de sorte que lesdits ressorts dudit porte-ressorts sollicitent ladite garniture de friction de la plaque de montage à venir au contact dudit disque de friction freinant ainsi un arbre relié audit moyeu et tournant avec lui.
