Abstract

L'invention concerne la filature de solutions de pyrrolidone. Des solutions de polypyrrolidone possédant une viscosité apparente de 100 à 10 000 poises et contenant de l'acide formique comme solvant et un diluant volatil tel que le chlorure de méthylène, sont filées en filaments par extrusion à travers une filière. La solution contient, par exemple, environ 5 à 40 % en poids de polypyrrolidone, environ 30 à 90 % en poids d'acide formique et environ 5 à 60 % en poids de chlorure de méthylène Les produits ainsi obtenus présentent d'excellentes propriétés de traction.
