Abstract

Selon ce procédé et au moyen du dispositif, on fait passer une solution saline (exemple Nacl) à gradient osmotique décroissant avec le temps dans un tube capillaire en serpentin maintenu sur support vertical, de façon que le flux dans les spires soit horizontal et s'écoule selon le modèle parabolique de Poiseuille. L'échantillon cellulaire (par exemple du sang) est inséré dans le tube; la solution saline traverse le capillaire beaucoup plus vite que les érythrocytes, ces derniers étant exposés à une diminution graduelle d'osmolarité pour l'hémolyse On enregistre la densité optique en fonction du temps sous 547 nanomètres et trace en continu une courbe d'hémolyse. Application aux cellules sanguines avec mesure de la fragilité osmotique des érythrocytes.
